The Bandon Family Resource centre is looking for a dynamic and
passionate individual to join our growing team.
The Family Support / Youth & Community Worker will work closely with
the Project Co-ordinator to help implement the centre’s Strategic
Plan.
The ideal candidate should have:
* A relevant third level qualification – Minimum Level 6 (for
example, Family Support or Youth & Community Development);
* At least 2 years’ experience and knowledge of family support in
a community based setting;
* Experience of working with community, voluntary and statutory
agencies including familiarity with Meitheal programme.
* Experience delivering programmes, activities and/or services to
groups including new communities e.g. Ukrainians
* Experience of providing one-to-one supports directly to
parents/families;
* Experience of working with young people in groups;
* Experience delivering parent support programmes;
* Proven experience in accessing funding;
* Excellent IT, social media and report writing skills;
* Access to own transport.
Terms: The post is * hours per week with salary
dependant on experience; annual leave entitlement is **Apply on the
website** days per annum. Some early evening work required.
